In a further twist in the long running proposed cruise Line berth at Dun Laoghaire Harbour, An Bord Pleanála has written to Dun Laoghaire Harbour Company this week requesting them to furnish further information in relation to the effects on the environment of the proposed development. The board is also seeking further technical and scientific information on the project.

The multi-million site was bought by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council in 2014
A multi-million 18th Century house and gardens once earmarked for a housing development is to be opened to the public.

Fernhill House and Gardens in Sandyford was bought by Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council (DLRCC) in 2014 for a snip of what it made in 2007 from €45m to €4.5m.

Dozens of South Americans and Eastern Europeans are unlawfully being rented "living space" in a single Co Dublin house in dangerous, unhealthy and cramped conditions, a court heard.

Barrister Liam O'Connell told Judge Jacqueline Linnane that he would be asking her to order Richard Stanley to immediately end the use of his property at Lehaunstown, Cabinteely, "as what can only be described as an unauthorised hostel".
